Description:
The Real Estate Analyst in will be responsible for assessing opportunities to purchase performing and non-performing whole loans for the Landmark Opportunity Fund, managed by Terrace Capital Associates, an affiliate of Terrace Capital, Inc.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the re-underwriting, market analysis and negotiation of whole loan transactions with senior bankers.
• Perform or assist in site and market inspections, gather and analyze economic and demographic data, become knowledgeable of all relevant market factors affecting rent and derivations of net income and prepare cash flow projections.
• Assist senior staff members in preparing Credit Memorandums for presentation to investment committee.
Applicants should have an academic background in finance, accounting or real estate with two years of related work experience. Strong math and communication skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel, Argus and or other relevant valuation software are essential.
This person must be well organized, energetic, capable of performing in a fast paced environment, and have the skills to excel under considerable time pressure.
